Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the dental laboratory, working closely with dentists to create high-quality dental prosthetics and devices. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of dental materials, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Fabricate dental appliances such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic devices based on dentist specifications. Utilize various laboratory equipment and tools to ensure precise measurements and quality finishes. Run Mills to be able to make sure lab work flows smooth and efficiently Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient case. Assist in contouring crowns, cements/jigs, and finishing metal process Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental professionals to assess patient needs and provide optimal solutions. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and materials to enhance laboratory practices. Skills Proficient in medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Knowledge of vital signs and patient assessment techniques. Experience with laboratory procedures, including infection control measures. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Ability to work with software systems such as Epic for managing medical records. Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity for intricate tasks.
