We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab Technician II opportunity at NDX Nelson in Rochester Hills, MI. The regular hours for this position are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday , and subject to change from time to time. This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement! Primary Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions of the
Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from the dentist Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship Post dam upper models Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics When setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved Maintain a clean work area All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
Set Up (select and setup teeth) Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Detail oriented
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Preferred:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Small machinery Hand pieces
Chemicals Physical Requirements:
