Job Description

Job Overview A well-established dental laboratory in the Twin Cities metro area is seeking an experienced Ceramist / Dental Technician to support posterior and implant casework. We're a quality-focused team that takes pride in doing things the right way—producing consistent, precise restorations while maintaining a collaborative and supportive work environment. We are looking for a skilled ceramist/technician with strong experience in posterior restorations and implant cases. This role plays an important part in ensuring each case meets high standards for fit, function, and overall quality. The ideal candidate is confident in their abilities, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working in an environment with high precision expectations . Key Responsibilities Fabricate and finish posterior crowns, bridges, and implant restorations Perform staining, glazing, contouring, and finishing to achieve proper function and esthetics Ensure accurate occlusion, contacts, margins, and anatomical form Execute implant restorations with a clear understanding of components and construction Follow prescriptions and clinical requirements with consistency and attention to detail Communicate with dentists/doctors when needed using appropriate clinical language Review and inspect cases prior to final delivery to ensure quality standards are met Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and case accuracy Qualifications Minimum 5+ years experience as a Ceramist in a dental laboratory environment Ability to consistently produce 20 or more units per day while maintaining quality Strong experience with: Posterior crown and bridge work Implant restorations (single-unit and multi-unit) Staining, glazing, and finishing techniques Experience working with zirconia, lithium disilicate (e.max), and implant-supported restorations preferred Solid understanding of: Dental anatomy and occlusion Shade matching principles Implant construction and restorative protocols Ability to communicate with dentists/doctors using clear clinical language Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and consistency Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple cases Team-oriented mindset What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level Flexible 4-day work week 401(k) plan Stable, team-oriented environment Opportunity for continued growth and development Clean, organized, modern lab setting
