Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry Level Denture Technician to join our growing team. As a key member of our denture lab, you will be responsible for assisting in the analog fabrication and repair of dentures. This is a task-oriented role and the ability to manage your time effectively is crucial. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an environment where each team member has highly differentiated roles. Responsibilities Pouring up and trimming denture models, creating wax bite rims and custom trays, relining and repairing dentures. Stocking supplies in operatory rooms and lab. Follow detailed instructions from denturists and lab manager and assist in various tasks to support a smooth workflow between the clinic and lab. Using tools and equipment such as model trimmer, air chisel, butane and alcohol torches, lab knives, etc. Ensure that all work meets our high quality standards and is completed on time. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Experience Prior dental experience is helpful, but other transferrable skills include experience with acrylics, resins, and sculpting, as denture fabrication involves a high level of detail and artistry. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial for success in this role. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time, tolerate physical discomfort performing repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Manual dexterity required to handle small tools and equipment. Ability to work in a loud and busy environment with exposure to noise, dust, and chemicals.
