  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team.
In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside support, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care in a fast-paced dental environment. Your expertise in dental assisting, medical documentation, and infection control will help deliver top-quality treatments across general dentistry and specialized fields such as prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, including 3D scanners and digital radiography, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our commitment to excellence in dental care. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric treatments with precision and efficiency Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners are ready for use Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray images), ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow and patient comfort Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging procedures when necessary for patients with special needs or medical conditions Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, post-treatment care, and maintain a positive experience throughout their visit Maintain a sterile environment following aseptic techniques, infection control standards, and anatomy knowledge to prevent cross-contamination Support the dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient flow efficiently Uphold HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Proficiency with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic or similar platforms for managing medical records and documentation Experience performing X-ray procedures and operating digital imaging equipment including 3D scanners Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with pediatric patients preferred Ability to perform chairside assisting during complex procedures like endodontics or prosthodontics with confidence Knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding processes related to dental treatments, and understanding of HIPAA regulations Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values professionalism, continuous learning, and delivering outstanding patient care.
