Job Description

Dental Laboratory Technician The Implant Center - 3.0 Portland, OR Job Details Part-time | Full-time $28 - $35 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications Prosthodontics Restoration 3D printing Cleaning Digital design Full Job Description Dental Laboratory Technician - Implant Prosthetics (Digital Workflow) The Implant Center 511 SW 10th Ave, Suite 1102, Portland, OR 97205 About us The Implant Center is a specialist dental implant practice in downtown Portland. We focus on full-arch reconstruction — All-on-X and 3-on-6 — and we run our lab in-house so we control quality and turnaround end to end. This isn't a high-volume crown-and-bridge mill. Every case matters, and the lab is central to the outcome. The role You'll own the digital prosthetic workflow from scan to finished appliance. That means designing, printing, and milling implant-supported prosthetics and working shoulder-to-shoulder with our surgeon on case planning and post-surgical adjustments. You're the person who turns a treatment plan into a prosthetic that fits and lasts. What you'll do Design implant prosthetics in CAD (exocad, 3Shape, or equivalent) — provisionals, try-ins, and final restorations Run 3D printing for surgical guides, models, and provisional appliances Operate milling equipment for PMMA and zirconia full-arch prosthetics Handle pre-design planning for All-on-X cases and post-surgical PMMA adjustments Manage your own QC — verify fit, occlusion, and finish before delivery Maintain lab equipment and keep the digital pipeline running clean Coordinate directly with the surgeon and clinical team on case timing What we're looking for Hands-on experience designing, printing, and milling implant prosthetics — full-arch experience strongly preferred Fluency in at least one major CAD platform (exocad or 3Shape) Comfort running mill and printer hardware without supervision Sharp eye for fit and finish; you don't pass work you wouldn't be proud of Someone who wants ownership of a lab, not just a station on an assembly line Why this role We're a growing practice with a clear direction. The lab tech who lands here gets autonomy, modern equipment, and the chance to build the lab function as we scale — not inherit someone else's mess.
