Job Description
We are a busy, privately owned dental laboratory in the Houston area producing high-quality restorations and prosthetics for a growing network of dental practices. Our lab handles a full range of work including complete and partial dentures, night guards, valplast, flippers, acrylic partials, and crown and bridge. We are expanding and need a skilled technician to join our core team. This position is paid on a per-piece basis — your earnings reflect your speed and output, not a fixed hourly rate. Piece rates vary by procedure and are discussed during the interview. Experienced, productive techs earn well above standard hourly wages in this market. Rates are reviewed as your skills and volume grow. If you are fast and take pride in your work, this structure rewards you directly. There is no ceiling on what a high-output tech can earn here. What you'll be doing Fabricating complete and partial dentures (acrylic, metal, valplast/flexible) Processing and finishing relines, repairs, and additions Fabricating night guards, flippers, and removable appliances Working from prescriptions and impressions to produce accurate, well-fitting restorations Meeting daily production targets and turnaround commitments to dental offices Maintaining a clean, organized workstation and following lab safety protocols Required 5+ year hands-on dental lab experience Proficiency in denture and removable prosthetics Ability to read and follow lab prescriptions Strong attention to detail and consistency Reliable, self-motivated, and fast Nice to have Valplast / flexible partial experience Crown and bridge or implant work CDT certification or dental lab graduate High-volume production background Schedule & perks Monday - Friday, daytime hours — no evenings, no weekends Full-time, on-site at our Houston lab Piece rates reviewed as your output and skill develop Stable, family-owned business with a strong and growing client base Small team — your work is noticed and valued Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to craftsmanship, precision, and patient satisfaction.
