We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70+ team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with a full-time surgeon and anesthesia technician. Horse experience is required. Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. Computer skills are a requirement. This is a busy and interactive position that will require standing for long periods of time. Duties include (but are not limited to) Patient restraint Unload surgery drop offs Prepare room for surgery Prepare patients for surgery Prep surgery site and assist surgeon during surgery Assist in anesthetizing horses and placing on surgery table Assist with intraoperative radiographs Cleaning and stocking Data entry This position is supported by a practice manager, receptionists, technicians, laboratory and pharmacy manager along with part time office and technical staff. This position will work in the Navasota office. Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM five days a week. We offer medical and retirement benefits.
