We're searching for a Certified Lab Technician who has strong leadership skills and the ability to grow with us. The ideal candidate has extensive experience within Dental Labs, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of our industry. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Analyse and interpret dental prescriptions written by dentists Design, fabricate and repair dental devices such as crowns, bridges, partial dentures, full dentures and orthodontic appliances Use a variety of materials, such as gold, porcelain and plastic, to create dental prosthetics Work with a variety of specialized hand and power tools, as well as computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology Inspect the final product for quality and fit, making adjustments as necessary Keep accurate records of work done and materials used Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous substances Communicate with dentists and other dental professionals to discuss design plans and issues Maintain dental laboratory equipment and order new supplies as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity Understanding of laws, rules and regulatory issues. Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues Computer Skills Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
