Dental Lab Technician-Ceramist Charleston, WV 25304 Part-time, Full-time Part-time, Full-time About Us We are a high-quality, patient-focused dental practice with an in-house laboratory dedicated to delivering exceptional prosthetic and restorative work. Our team collaborates closely with doctors, assistants, and lab technicians to ensure precision, consistency, and beautiful patient outcomes. We value craftsmanship, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Ceramist to join our in-house lab team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ceramic work, including layering, staining, and glazing, and will be proficient in producing highly aesthetic crowns, bridges, veneers, implant restorations, and full-arch prosthetics. This role requires artistic ability, technical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Create high-quality ceramic restorations including crowns, veneers, bridges, and implant-supported restorations Perform ceramic layering, staining, glazing, and contouring to achieve natural esthetics Evaluate models, digital scans, and prescriptions to ensure accuracy and case optimization Collaborate closely with doctors and the lab team on shade matching, case planning, and adjustments Utilize CAD/CAM systems (if applicable) and follow proper workflows Inspect final restorations to ensure precision and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab environment Stay updated on new materials, techniques, and industry advancements Qualifications Minimum 2-5 years experience as a dental ceramist (full-arch or implant experience is a plus) Strong artistic and technical skills in ceramic layering, staining, and glazing Knowledge of zirconia, e.max, porcelain, and hybrid materials Experience with digital workflows (scanners, mills, CAD software) preferred Excellent attention to detail, color perception, and manual dexterity Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced setting Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holidays Health Reimbursement Account (if qualified) 401K Profit Sharing Opportunities for continuing education and skill development Supportive team environment with advanced dental technology
