Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry. This role requires a compassionate approach, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Dentist will perform various dental procedures, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate medical records. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients. Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including dental extractions and oral surgery. Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and infection control. Provide preventive care and education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance patient care. Maintain detailed medical records using electronic health record systems such as Epic. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Skills Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry and the unique needs of young patients. Proficiency in performing dental extractions and other surgical procedures. Familiarity with aseptic techniques to ensure safe clinical practices. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental office environment. Excellent understanding of human anatomy related to dentistry. Experience with maintaining medical records accurately and efficiently. Strong communication skills for educating patients about their treatment options.
