Dialysis Technician

We are seeking Dialysis Technicians to join our team in the Torrance area. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dialysis procedures, physiology, and medical terminology, ensuring safe and effective patient care. As a Dialysis Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patient responses during treatment, and maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques to promote patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean, sterilize, set up, monitor and test dialysis machines and accessory equipment used Monitor the operation of a central dialysate supply system by observing meters and gauges, making adjustments to maintain the proper degree of conductivity and temperature of the dialysate solution being delivered Collect water and dialysis solution samples and send them to the lab for analysis on a monthly basis Clean and sterile equipment after each use - disassemble systems, discard and replace membranes or dialyzers Set up dialyzers at patients' bedside

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience as a dialysis technician Experience with assisting in the assembling, testing, operating and servicing equipment used in dialysis procedures
