Dialysis Technician

Summary We are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team at Payday Human Resources. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing quality care to one patient undergoing in-home dialysis treatment. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment for patient use. Monitor patients during dialysis treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety. Administer dialysis treatments according to established protocols and procedures. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and vital signs. Educate patient about the dialysis process and post-treatment care. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Order and stock needed supplies from providers. Collect and deliver blood samples as needed. Requirements Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology related to dialysis treatment. Experience with aseptic techniques in a clinical setting. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to nephrology and dialysis. Ability to work effectively in a home-based environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Dialysis Technician or equivalent experience is preferred.
