We have an exciting opportunity for you to join West Valley Medical Center which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare. Job Summary and Qualifications The Dialysis Care Technician ( DCT ) delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services related to treating patients in need of renal replacement therapy (all types of dialysis). Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the DCT assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the DCT's skills/training and the needs of the department and consistently assists the dialysis care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The DCT is responsible for machine management and documentation of machine quality and safety logs, machine tracking, and inventory as assigned by departmental leadership. The DCT complies with all hospital policies/procedures and observes the State Board rules and regulations for unlicensed personnel. The DCT performs dialysis treatment under the supervision of a nurse per state guidelines and facility policies.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date Required + Completion of Dialysis Technical Training
  • Required + Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician
  • Required + High School Graduate / GED
  • Required + One or more years of experience in acute care setting preferred .
