Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician to join our healthcare team, providing essential support in the delivery of dialysis treatments to patients with kidney failure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patient conditions during procedures, and ensuring adherence to strict safety and hygiene protocols. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering compassionate, high-quality care within a dynamic medical environment. The successful applicant will possess strong technical skills, comprehensive knowledge of physiology and anatomy, and a commitment to patient safety. Duties Prepare dialysis machines and supplies, ensuring all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning correctly before each procedure. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout dialysis sessions, adjusting treatment parameters as necessary. Assist in establishing and maintaining aseptic techniques to prevent infections and ensure a sterile environment. Educate patients about the dialysis process, including pre- and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient responses, and any adverse events or observations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, medical protocols, and regulatory requirements related to dialysis procedures. Support inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when replenishments are needed. Skills Proven experience in dialysis procedures or related healthcare settings. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy relevant to renal function. Excellent knowledge of medical terminology used in nephrology and dialysis care. Proficiency in aseptic technique to maintain sterile environments during treatments. Ability to interpret vital signs accurately and respond promptly to patient needs. Effective communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Attention to detail in documentation, equipment operation, and safety protocols. $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
