Dialysis Technician Job Summary:
The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing direct patient care to individuals with kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis treatments. They are responsible for operating and maintaining dialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and ensuring a safe and effective dialysis process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Set up and prepare dialysis machines before each treatment Monitor patients during dialysis treatments and make adjustments as necessary Administer medications, as prescribed by the nephrologist Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients Educate patients on proper dialysis procedures and self-care techniques Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress Clean and sterilize dialysis equipment and treatment areas
Qualifications and Skills:
