Position Overview:
Dietary Aide The Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting the health and well-being of residents by assisting with meal preparation, meal service, sanitation, and overall kitchen operations. This position helps ensure meals are prepared and delivered accurately, safely, and in accordance with dietary guidelines while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Qualifications Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Ability to follow oral and written instructions Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation, service, and delivery of meals and snacks Perform daily and scheduled cleaning duties, including work areas, tables, appliances, and floors Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled trays and items from dining areas and properly store cleaned items Check trays for completeness and accuracy according to menu and resident dietary preferences prior to meal distribution Ensure proper storage and handling of raw and leftover foods Support and carry out sanitation and infection control procedures Follow all Universal Precautions, safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and infection prevention policies Benefits Blue Cross Blue Shield Health & Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match If you enjoy working in long-term care, value strong benefits and growth opportunities, and want to be part of a close-knit team that truly cares, we would love to meet you!
