Position Overview:
Dietary Aide A Dietary Aide plays an essential role in supporting the nutritional health and well-being of residents by assisting with meal preparation, service, sanitation, and kitchen operations. This position helps ensure meals are delivered accurately, safely, and in accordance with dietary guidelines while maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English Ability to follow oral and written instructions Must be at least 18 years of age Able to perform the essential functions of the positionKey Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, service, and delivery of meals and snacks Perform daily and scheduled cleaning duties, including work areas, tables, appliances, and floors Wash dishes and utensils; collect soiled items from carts, trays, and dining areas and store clean items properly Check trays for completeness and accuracy according to menu and resident diet preferences before distribution Ensure proper storage of raw and leftover foods Support and carry out scheduled sanitation procedures Follow all Universal Precautions, sanitation, safety, and infection control policiesBenefits:
