Job Description

Dietary Aide Job Summary Arabella Health & Wellness of Red Bay is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents by preparing and serving meals, snacks, and special diets. Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, snacks, and special diets to residents Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation in the dietary department Restock supplies and equipment as needed Maintain accurate records of food temperatures, resident food preferences, and special dietary needs Collaborate with the nutrition team to plan and implement menu changes Develop positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
Requirements:
Some experience as a dietary aide and/or hostess in a care facility setting is preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods Basic understanding of nutrition and dietary needs
