GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
To work directly with dietary staff in providing dietary services to Birch members.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED Honest, dependable, self-motivated, and dedicated to Birch Tree Values and Mission. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes necessary ServSafe training Assist in planning, developing, and preparing menus according to specific diet requirements. Assist in maintaining sanitary kitchen, appliances, and equipment. Assist in following prescribed diets and ordering food accordingly. Inventory and store food/supplies according to procedures. The ability to create Adult Nutrition Documentation as needed. Provide scheduled meal planning groups during day treatment to encourage member input and cooking groups to improve cooking skills as assigned. Regular and punctual attendance is required. Open communication with Dietary Supervisor. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
