Dietary Aide

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and food production in the dietary department
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food
• Help with serving meals to residents or patients
• Maintain inventory of food and supplies
• Collaborate with other dietary staff to ensure efficient operation

Skills:

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions for meal preparation
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and residents/patients
