Dietary Aide

DIETARY AIDE

Starting Pay 11.50/hr. Scheduled minimum of 16 hours. Flexibility in working Morning Shift or Afternoon Shift will allow for more hours to be worked.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with meal preparation and food production in a nursing home
• Sanitize work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
• Help with serving meals and beverages to residents
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
• Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions for meal preparation
• Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure quality and presentation of meals
• Practice proper food handling techniques

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors
• Ability to work well as part of a team
