Job Description

Lead Diet Aide at a 5-Star Rated Health Center Ready to take your passion for people to the next level - without the late nights and high stress of restaurant serving? Acacia Health Center in beautiful Northeast Phoenixe is hiring a full-time Lead Diet Aide to join our team. We're part of the prestigious Sagewood Senior Living Community , a CMS 5-Star Rated Facility . Come work in our beautiful healthcare building which supports skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care.
Position Details:
Pay:
$19-21/ hr
Schedule:
40 hours per week. No late nights! Split schedule working 6:30a - 2:30p and 11:00a-7:00p Working weekends and occasional holidays.

What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain the physical appearance of the dining rooms and service kitchens, staff, table place settings, chairs, floors, general sanitation. Communicates with the cooks and diet aides ensuring all food is prepared to proper temperature, quality appearance, consistency, and timeliness of service. Delegating tasks assignments and assisting with premeal before each meal service. Ensuring the diet rosters are accurate and communicated to all staff. Fulfills and ensures that diet aides have all necessary inventory throughout the satellite kitchens, neighborhood kitchens, and storage areas. Confers with the supervisor regarding dining room's needs, special events, planning, and implementation of new systems. Meets with new admissions as needed, our current residents, their families, and visitors explaining our meal programs, menus, likes/dislikes, dining times, and any other matters. Assists with new hire education, training, and staff development. Serving meals to residents with care and positivity Maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety Working alongside a passionate team in a fast-paced kitchen Provide optimum hospitality services to our residents and their guests

What We're Looking For:
A minimum of two years as a server and or dietary aide experience in a senior living community, or healthcare center. Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart Bringing your passions where you can make a true difference in the lives of others Comfortable working weekends and occasional holidays and being on your feet for extended periods of time Arizona Food Handler Card required Must pass a background check and drug screening Flu vaccine required EEO
