Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with meal preparation and ensuring the dietary needs of our residents are met. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in an assisted living environment.Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents according to dietary guidelines
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Set up dining areas and ensure they are clean and organized before and after meal times
- Assist residents with their dietary needs, including special diets or restrictions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure efficient meal service
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
