Dietary Aide - Part-Time Bakersfield Post Acute Skilled Nursing Facility Part-Time | Flexible Schedule Pay range $17.08-$17.18 Position Summary Bakersfield Post Acute is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Part-Time Dietary Aide to support our dietary services department. This role plays a key part in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while maintaining all sanitation and food safety standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs Deliver meal trays and beverages to residents in a timely and courteous manner Set up and break down dining areas before and after meals Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to sanitation guidelines Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and food service areas Follow all infection control, food safety, and facility policies Assist with storing food supplies and rotating stock as needed Provide respectful and compassionate service to residents, visitors, and staff Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Prior dietary or food service experience preferred, but not required Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, lifting, and bending Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry food trays and kitchen items Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks Why Join Bakersfield Post Acute?
