The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, serving, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure a safe and pleasant dining experience for residents. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents through quality food service and support. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with professionalism and excellent customer service skills Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces Follow food handling and safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure proper sanitation Assist with food storage, inventory management, and proper labeling of ingredients Support the dietary department in ensuring timely meal delivery and adherence to dietary restrictions or special diets Help with general kitchen duties such as cooking, portioning, and assisting culinary staff as needed Ensure compliance with health regulations and facility policies related to food safety and sanitation Qualifications Previous experience in food service, dietary aide roles, or healthcare settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, hospitals, or food industry is preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, serving, and sanitation standards Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or patients Ability to follow detailed instructions related to dietary needs and safety procedures Basic understanding of food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen operations Experience with food safety regulations and sanitation practices is highly desirable Culinary experience or dietetics background is a plus but not required Join our team to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives by providing nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
