Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Bishop Care Center -
Bishop, CA Salary:
$70,304 - $73,000 annually Bishop Care Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary department and ensure high-quality nutrition services for our residents. This is a great opportunity for someone who is already certified or actively working toward certification and looking to grow in a supportive skilled nursing environment. Bishop Care Center may provide reimbursement or payment for certificiarion. Position Summary The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring meals are nutritious, safe, and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role plays a key part in enhancing resident satisfaction and supporting overall care outcomes. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily dietary operations, including food preparation and service Ensure meals meet physician-ordered diets and resident nutritional needs Supervise, train, and support dietary staff Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Manage food and supply ordering, inventory, and budget controls Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian and interdisciplinary team Monitor resident satisfaction and adjust services as needed Ensure kitchen and storage areas remain clean, safe, and organized Qualifications Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred, or actively working toward certification (facility support available) Knowledge of long-term care dietary regulations and food safety standards Previous experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with multiple departments Why Join Bishop Care Center?
