Job Description

Ocean View Post Acute is looking for a full-time Dietary Aide. Pay rate is $18.33/hr., depending on experience. Prefer Skilled Nursing Facility Experience. We're a skilled nursing facility looking for dynamic associates to join our clinical team and provide our guests with a care experience that will change their lives! Experience Responsibilities:
Follows department procedures and storage of all dishes, utensils and cooking equipment. Ensures all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage are labeled and dated. Oversees proper food handling and utilization of all foods to prevent contamination, increase quality and reduce cost. Suggests menu or recipe changes to utilize leftovers and other supplies. Cleans all food service equipment, kitchen and food storage areas. Maintains the proper temperature of food during preparation and service. Records food temperatures according to established policy. Assists with the setup of the tray line. Assembles trays according to the planned menu and tray tickets, stated portion, resident food preferences, and diet order and within the established time schedules. Assists in checking trays during service for accuracy.
Requirements:
High school diploma or
GED. 1-3
