This is an introductory position in the food industry. We would prefer if you have experience but if you don't, we're happy to train you! If you have ambitions to have a career in the healthcare industry this is a great place to start. You will play a vital role in the health and rehabilitation of our patients!

Job Summary:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for providing assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

Work with the facility's dietitian as necessary and implement recommend changes as required. Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Others as deemed necessary and appropriate, or as may be directed.

Typical tasks include:

Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Assist in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis. Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures. Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
