POSITION SUMMARY

The primary purpose of your job position is to help and support the preparation food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, within established policies and procedures. May be directed by the Dietary Supervisor, Administrator or Dietitian to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. You are to be delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the cook and trayline positions to ensure meals start on time. Check therapeutic diet and diet texture production sheets. Assistance with staff scheduling and finding coverage for calls outs as needed. Work on office work as assigned by the RD or DSS. Assistance with stock and inventory of kitchen supplies and foods Print breakfast and lunch tray card tickets for the next day. Check out with AM and PM staff reviewing what logs/cleaning tasks need to be completed prior to their shift ending.
