We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, food service, and kitchen sanitation in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures. This role works closely with dietary staff, nursing, and residents to help provide quality meals and excellent service in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages according to diet orders and portion guidelines Assist with meal tray setup, delivery, and collection Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas Stock and store food and supplies properly upon delivery Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures Maintain accurate logs, including temperatures and cleaning records Support resident rights, preferences, and confidentiality Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing, and other team members Attend trainings, meetings, and in-services as required
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Reliable, organized, and positive attitude Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed No prior experience is required. On-the-job training is provided.
