Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, meal assembly, and portioning to ensure timely service Serve meals to residents with kindness and professionalism, adhering to dietary guidelines and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen surfaces, utensils, and food handling equipment through proper sanitation practices Support food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations to prevent contamination Follow established protocols for meal delivery, tray setup, and resident dietary needs Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure all dietary requirements are met efficiently and accurately Qualifications Previous experience in food service, food production, or dietary assistance preferred; experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is a plus Knowledge of food handling safety practices and sanitation standards Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents and team members Ability to follow detailed instructions related to meal preparation and dietary guidelines Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training will be provided

Hours:
