We specialize in providing short-term rehabilitation services and are proud to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs. With a Director of Nursing and a Director of Rehabilitation at the helm, our team of dedicated nursing and dietary staff have received rave reviews from our patients. Plus, we're proud to have a spotless record with no serious deficiencies or payment suspensions. Come join our team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in preparing and serving meals to residents, as well as maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Hours are 6:00AM-2:30
PM Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and cooking Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements and portion control Follow menus and prepare food items as directed by the Cook or Dietary Manager Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas as assigned on cleaning schedule Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and instructions Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, Food Handlers Certification Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds If you are a self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for serving others, we encourage you to apply for this position.
