In this energetic and rewarding position, you will assist with meal preparation, ensure proper food presentation, and support the overall dining experience. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and safety standards Ensure all food is presented attractively and served at appropriate temperatures Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, kitchen equipment, and food storage spaces Support residents during mealtimes, providing assistance as needed to promote independence and dignity Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and sanitation practices Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels Document meal service activities accurately and report any concerns or resident needs promptly Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety and sanitation standards Strong communication skills with a friendly, compassionate demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform physical tasks involved in food service Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed Basic understanding of dietary restrictions or special diets is advantageous but not required Join us in creating a positive dining experience that promotes health, comfort, and happiness for our residents.
