Location:
West Hills, CALIFORNIA JOB DUTIES Description This role supports patient-centered meal service by ensuring dietary accuracy, safety, and a positive dining experience. Key responsibilities include handling inbound customer calls and in-person interactions to assist with meal planning and dietary needs. You will process, prepare, and interpret reports and data related to patient diets, supplements, and allergens to ensure full compliance with medical and nutritional requirements. You will verify patient meal selections against diet orders, including restrictions, preferences, and clinical needs, ensuring every tray meets strict dietary specifications as indicated on meal tickets. In addition, you will assemble and review meal trays for accuracy and quality, confirming all components align with patient-specific guidelines. You will also ensure timely meal delivery to patients in accordance with regulatory standards and safety protocols, supporting both patient care and service excellence.
Salary Range:
26.37-34.83/hr.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications Ability to handle inbound customer calls or in person interactions aiding in meal planning, order taking and the meal delivery process Ability to read and write English fluently with strong attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately Knowledge of basic math and measurements Understanding of therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards Ability to interact with patients and staff in a courteous, positive, and professional manner Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely Basic computer literacy, including the ability to use systems for documentation and reporting •skills subject to test
