The Dietary Aide plays an essential role in supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment to ensure residents receive nutritious and enjoyable meals. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and resident needs Set up meal trays, deliver food to residents, and assist with feeding when necessary Follow portion control and special diet instructions (e.g., low sodium, diabetic diets) Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and properly Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff Assist with special events or catering within the facility as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in food service or healthcare dietary setting is a plus Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate and service-oriented attitude toward residents Schedule & Benefits Full-time position (may include weekends and holidays) Competitive pay at $19/hour Opportunities for growth within the organization Supportive team environment Equal Opportunity Employer Moraga Post Acute is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
