Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the culinary arts and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with food production and meal preparation under the guidance of the culinary team
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistency and quality
  • Help with serving meals to residents or patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen equipment
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
  • Collaborate with other dietary staff to ensure smooth workflow
Experience:
  • Previous experience in a dietary department or similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
  • Familiarity with food production techniques and equipment
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pay:
From $17.48 per hour
