We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team in providing high-quality nutritional care within our beautiful, well established skilled nursing facility-Columbine West Health and Rehab. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure residents receive nutritious and appealing meals in a safe and clean environment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents while developing valuable skills in food service and dietary operations. Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation, following dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining areas, and food service equipment through proper sanitation practices Handle food safely according to sanitation protocols, including proper storage, handling, and disposal of food items Buss tables and assist with cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen surfaces to uphold hygiene standards Support dietary department operations by organizing supplies and assisting with inventory management Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' needs with kindness and professionalism Experience Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments is preferred Culinary experience or background in food service, including food preparation and serving roles, is advantageous Familiarity with dietary department procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices is beneficial Experience with food handling, cooking, meal preparation, or dietetics can enhance performance in this role Strong time management skills are essential for efficiently completing tasks within scheduled meal times Prior dietary aide or food service experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates interested in entering the field
Pay:
$15.50 - $16.50 per hour
