Dietary Aide Full Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in a skilled nursing facility. The Dietary Aide plays a vital role in supporting residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks according to prescribed diets Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Set up and clean dining areas, including tables, trays, and kitchen equipment Deliver meals to residents and ensure proper portioning and presentation Support residents during mealtimes as needed Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment Store food and supplies properly and assist with inventory as needed Work collaboratively with dietary staff and healthcare team members

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in food service or healthcare setting is a plus Knowledge of safe food handling practices Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and time management skills Compassionate attitude and ability to work with elderly residents

Requirements:

Must pass background screening and drug test (per Florida regulations) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Reliable attendance and punctuality
