Dietary Aide

Duties Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with courtesy, professionalism, and a focus on customer satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food handling equipment through regular sanitation and sanitation procedures Support food handling, bussing tables, and clearing dishes to ensure efficient meal service Follow proper food safety protocols, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation practices Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs Contribute to a positive dining atmosphere by providing friendly customer service and assisting residents as needed Experience Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred Culinary or food service experience that demonstrates knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques Familiarity with dietary department operations and food safety regulations Strong time management skills to efficiently coordinate meal prep and service tasks Experience with cleaning, sanitation, and kitchen safety protocols is advantageous Knowledge of food production processes including cooking, plating, and serving in a healthcare or senior living environment is beneficial Prior dietary aide or food handling experience that highlights attention to detail and customer service excellence
