Dietary Aide 10050 Eagle Drive, Covington, GA 30014 From $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time From $14 an hour - Part-time, Full-time The Dietary Aide is responsible for supporting all aspects of dining services by providing excellent customer service to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary dining and kitchen environment. This position assists with meal service, beverage service, dining room preparation, dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen support in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as Prema Senior Living policies and procedures. The Dietary Aide plays an important role in enhancing the dining experience for residents by ensuring meals are served promptly and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Prior experience in food service, hospitality, healthcare, or senior living preferred. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Friendly, compassionate, and customer-service oriented. Enjoys working with older adults. Must be at least 18 years of age with a satisfactory criminal history check. Must be medically fit, certified by a licensed physician, and pass a drug screening test. Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred. Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations. Primary Responsibilities :
Assist with meal preparation, meal service, and beverage service for residents and guests. Set up, maintain, and reset dining areas before, during, and after meal periods. Provide friendly, courteous service while promoting resident dignity, choice, and independence. Operate the commercial dishwasher and ensure dishes, utensils, cookware, and service items are properly cleaned and sanitized. Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and serving equipment. Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining room, dish room, and food service equipment in accordance with health and safety standards. Sweep, mop, remove trash, and maintain clean and organized work areas. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food and supply deliveries. Follow all food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures. Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, resident concerns, or service issues to the appropriate supervisor. Support special events, catering functions, and other dietary department duties as assigned. Physical Job Demands and Requirements:
Frequently stand and walk for extended periods. Assist in the transfer of residents, adhering to proper body mechanics and safety measures. Frequently bend, kneel, reach, and lift. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds. Frequently push, pull, and transport carts and equipment. Frequently support up to 70 pounds. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Job Types:
