This position is Full-time, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and does require every other weekend.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience working as a dishwasher in kitchen environment preferred Skilled Nursing experience preferred Basic understanding of Food Safety Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in the English language Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30-40 pounds

SUMMARY:
The Culinary Utility Aide plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment within A.G. Rhodes. This position ensures that dishes, utensils, cookware, and food‑service equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use to support high‑quality meal service for elders. Assists with stocking supply rooms and deliveries to community. Works with fellow Culinary Services team members to ensure elder customer satisfaction with Culinary Services at A.G. Rhodes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing machines. Ensure proper drying, storage, and organization of clean items. Assist with trash removal and cleaning of kitchen floors, counters, and work areas. Follow infection‑control and sanitation procedures required in long‑term care settings Support meal service by restocking clean items as needed. Report equipment issues or safety concerns to the Culinary Services Manager or Cook. Assist with basic food‑prep tasks when requested. Maintain a clean, orderly dishwashing and storage area. Provide friendly, respectful interaction with elders to support a positive dining experience. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail. Good communication and customer‑service skills. Basic understanding of sanitation and safe-food-handling practices.
