At East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing in Marietta, GA, we take pride in creating a team-oriented and respectful workplace where every employee is valued. We are committed to providing exceptional care to our residents—and that starts with exceptional staff. We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide/Cook to join our dietary team. Applicants must be flexible and available to work the following weekend shifts :
Available Weekend Shifts:
6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 12:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and menu requirements Ensure meals are cooked and served in a timely, sanitary, and appealing manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and utensils Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Collaborate with team members to meet resident needs Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in senior living and previous kitchen knowledge preferred Prior cooking or dietary aide experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred but not required SERV Safe Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 90 days) Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude Compassionate and professional demeanor
