Job Description

Job Summary We have a new starting wage!! The Highlands is looking for a Dietary Aide to join our team! Our Nutrition Services department is a fast-paced, high-energy team that provides our residents with a variety of delicious meals throughout the day! In this position, you will help serve meals to residents, prepare meals, and assist with clean up. The following Dietary Aide shifts are possible: 2p
  • 7:30p 3-4 Days a Week, Includes every other weekend.

Responsibilities and Duties Job Responsibilities:
  • Pass beverages to residents
  • Take meal orders and serve meals to residents in a timely and friendly manner
  • Complete daily cleaning list (washing dishes, clearing tables, etc.)
  • Wear proper and clean uniform
  • Take required online training to meet facility regulations
Working Environment:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for longer periods of time
  • Some lifting and carrying required
  • Handle chemicals
Qualifications and Skills Employment Qualifications:
  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
Conditions of Employment:
  • Pass established health screening (TB test and physical), pass criminal background check.
  • Must complete general orientation and dietary orientation and training
  • Must complete 90 day probation period satisfactorily Seeking someone who is:
  • Ready to join a hard-working team in a fun work-atmosphere!
  • Reliable
  • A good communicator across all ages
  • Ready to learn!
  • A good "team player"
