Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated dietary team as a Dietary Aide, where you will play a vital role in providing nutritious, appealing meals to residents in the nursing facility, memory care unit, and assisted living. This energetic position involves assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all residents. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm, welcoming environment that promotes health and well-being. Responsibilities Assist with food production and meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards Serve meals to residents with friendly, attentive customer service Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through proper sanitation, cleaning, and bussing procedures Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and sanitation practices Support dietary department operations by organizing supplies and ensuring timely meal delivery Assist with food portioning, plating, and presentation to enhance resident satisfaction Follow all safety regulations related to food service, sanitation, and kitchen equipment use Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food service industry preferred Knowledge of food production, preparation, and safety standards Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Experience with food handling, serving, cleaning, and sanitation procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly approach toward residents and team members Ability to work collaboratively within a dietary or culinary team Basic understanding of dietetics principles and meal planning is a plus Join us in making a difference every day!
