Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PM Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, food preparation, and dietary support within assisted living, nursing home, or hospital environments. As a PM Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents and patients receive nutritious, well-prepared meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer service. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being and satisfaction of those we serve. Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and serving in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety protocols. Support the dietary department by handling food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation, and cleaning procedures. Ensure timely delivery of meals to residents or patients while maintaining quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas through regular cleaning, bussing, and sanitation tasks. Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage. Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food production activities and ensure efficient meal service. Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs or shortages. Skills Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and sanitation standards. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach toward residents or patients. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietetic principles related to meal planning and nutrition support. Basic culinary skills including cooking, meal assembly, and food handling practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while adhering to safety protocols related to food service and sanitation. Pay:
$18.50 - $19.00 per hour
