Dietary Aide The Dietary Aide is responsible for the cleaning and food preparation duties to ensure hygienic conditions are maintained in the kitchen and dining area in compliance with city and state regulations. The Dietary aide helps to support dietary cook in the preparation of meals for clients. Must be able to work rotating shifts.
Essential Duties Include:
Operate kitchen equipment Prepare all beverages for meal service May be required to scrape and wash dishes Clean up after all meals such as washing tables, chairs, meal prep and work stations, sweeping and mopping Take garbage out to the dumpster Maintain clean and orderly storage and work areas Prepare evening snack for evening shift to distribute
Qualifications:
Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to exchange information and maintain courteous relationships with clients, families, supervisors and visitors of the facility Must be free of a criminal background that is a Disqualifying Offense as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health Must hold Illinois Food Handlers Certificate MADO Healthcare is an equal opportunity employer Posted 06/29/2026
