GED Full Job Description Overview:
Position Summary In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of food and services to our residents and guests in a timely manner while providing safe, friendly, and hospitable service. The Dietary Aide is also responsible for maintaining sanitation standards throughout the department. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities Provide exceptional, accurate, and efficient service in all dining service venues within the community. Deliver and serve meals to residents as needed. Ensure dining rooms, trays, and food carts are set up for meal service. Assist with meal preparation. Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Ensure food is served in accordance with the company portion control procedure. Answer pertinent question about menus offerings. Maintain knowledge of diets provided and ensure proper delivery of those diets in compliance with company policy and procedure. Stock and clean kitchenettes and maintain cleanliness of carts and dining room areas. Assist in scheduled daily cleaning duties. Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment. Assist with dishwashing and restocking of clean dishes as needed. Record information on appropriate temperature logs including but not limited to; food cooking temperatures, hot/cold holding temperatures, and equipment temperature logs. Attend all required department/community meetings, in services, or trainings. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and procedures and any updates.
Position Requirements Education :
High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications:
ServSafe certification if required
Experience :
None required; 1+ years of dining services experience preferred

Exceptional customer service skills
