Job Description

Position Title:
Dietary Aid -
Dietary Department Full Time Day Shift Compensation:
$16.60hr starting (union contract) The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles. Position Summary Perform operational duties to provide safe and nutritious food to patients and customers in the Saint Anthony Hospital cafeteria, Physicians' Dining, and catering events. Responsibilities Prepares, assembles, delivers and/or serves meals and nourishments for patients, cafeteria, Physicians' Dining room, and catering events. Sets up catering events following established departmental catering standards. Performs tray line tasks with an above average degree of accuracy. Receives all deliveries and assures accurate quantity and quality of products. Ensures and performs proper storage of merchandise. Performs cashier duties in the cafeteria and Physicians' Dining Room. Execute proper cleaning and sanitation of dishware, pots and pans. Ensures proper sanitation of Foodservice facilities. Delivers tube feeding and floor stock to patient care areas. Completes quality control records/logs as appropriate and reports deviations to supervisor.
Work Experience:
1 to 3 years of housekeeping experience.
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to follow oral and written instructions Able to work harmoniously with peers, supervisors, and other departments, visitors and patients Previous experience in dietary or food services preferred Ability to read and write
