The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and service of nutritious meals to residents, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and dietary guidelines. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on providing excellent care and dining experiences for our residents. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or the food industry is preferred. PM Job Description Purpose:

Provide a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for the preparation and serving of meals.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of elementary school or proof of equivalent knowledge.
• Good manual dexterity, physical stamina, energy, and coordination.
• Ability to work standing up for a period of 2.5 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs .
• Ability to run or walk a distance of approximately 25 yards to assist with resident emergencies or for building evacuations.
• Must pass a criminal background check

Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of food under the direction and supervision of the Food Services Director or the supervisor on duty.
• Set tables and serve meals to residents.
• Operate dishwasher and complete hand washing of all pans, utensils, and dishes after meals.
• Assist in storing foods and supplies, including acceptance of deliveries and completion of assigned inventories.
• Complete kitchen and dining room clean up after each meal, including, but not limited to sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning of all appliances and equipment used in the preparation of the meal.
• Complete thorough cleaning of all food services areas, food service appliances, equipment and furnishings according to department schedules, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with emergency evacuations when required.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
